Book Return

There is one book return located outside the library main entrance doors.  This book return is available at all times.

There is one book return located at the circulation desk on the first floor of the library.  This book return is available whenever the library is open.

Patrons are responsible for material(s) left on the counters and not placed in the book return.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found is located at the circulation desk. Valuable or personal items like keys, phones or ID's will be sent to Campus Police immediately after being found. Other items will be sent after 24 hours  to Campus Police.

Telephones

Telephones

 

There is no public telephone available for public use.  There is a pay phone located on the west side of campus by the main entrance.

 

Cell Phones

 

The Library staff increasingly hears complaints from users about having their concentration disturbed by ring tones and cell phone conversations.  Please select a silent mode for your cell phone while in the Library.  Conversations on cell phones should be conducted in the library vestibule or outside.

 

 

Copier

 There is one coin operated copier located on the first floor of the Library.  The cost is 10 cents per page.  The copier will reduce, enlarge and make two-sided copies.

Messages

 The library staff does not page or look for an individual.  Emergencies are handled by Campus Police.

Rest Rooms

Public rest rooms are located on the second floor of the library.

The KCKCC Library has been designated as a Selective Federal Depository Library.

Food and Drink in the Library

Drinks with screwed on covers may be consumed in the library. 

No food is allowed in the Library.  Patrons found with food will be asked to leave the building.

This policy was developed to:

  • prevent damage to library books and materials from food stains and spills
  • keep the library pleasant and clean, and
  • discourage mice, rats and other vermin from taking up residence in the library

 Please do your part to preserve the library's collection by adhering to this policy.

 No drinks of any kind are allowed in the computer areas.
