Library Services

The library serves the information needs of students, staff, faculty, and the public with a collection of over 70,000 books, 7,000 audio-visuals and 5,000 microforms. Over 1,000 items are added to the collection annually, and the library is a selective U.S. Government Documents Depository.

The book collection is arranged in open stacks for easy browsing. Over 21,000 general and scholarly periodical in either paper or electronic format are available. Interlibrary loan provides access to books and periodical titles from over 10,000 other libraries in North America.

Access to the collection is available through computers located in the building or by access to the library's web page.

Other resources provided by the Library are coin-operated photocopier, microfilm reader/printers, DVD\ video viewing stations, and computers.

Students and faculty are encouraged to use the Library not only for specific research assignments, but also for studying and recreational reading. A current student I.D. card or Community Borrowers Card is required for material check-out.
