This course focuses on concepts associated with evidence-based care of diverse clients across the lifespan who have complex physical and mental health problems with unpredictable outcomes. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate reasoning to make effective nursing judgments when providing care for patients across the lifespan in a variety of health care and community-based settings. Concepts of prioritization, delegation and supervision, and global health are emphasized as students continue to demonstrate professional standards and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines. Pre-requisite: NURS0131, NURS-0132, NURS-0143.
