Are you registered?

Make sure you are registered to vote!

Even if you registered to vote, you may still want to check your registration status online before an election to make sure it is current and correct.

In Kansas:

Visit the Kansas Secretary of State's VoterView tool. Note: the information you enter (name and birth date) must match your registration record exactly. You can also make sure that your name, home address, and political party are correct.

Besides checking your registration status, you can also find your polling place and view a sample ballot. In addition, this tool allows you to check your voting history and view every election in which you have cast a ballot. To vote in a Kansas election, you must be registered to vote at least 21 days before the election happens.

You may also register directly through the Online Voter Registration Application on the Kansas Secretary of State's website. To vote in Kansas, you must be 18 years old on or before election day. Check the Secretary of State's Important Election Dates for the current election cycle.

In Missouri:

You must be at least 17 1/2 years old to register and 18 years old to vote in an election. Check your voter registration to make sure everything is correct and up to date. If you're not yet registered, you can file your application on the Missouri Secretary of State's website. You must register to vote about one month ahead to participate in an election. Find all the important filing dates on the elections calendar for Missouri.

If the information listed is incorrect, you can fill out the Voter Registration Application to submit updates and corrections.

If you are denied your right to vote at the polls, call the Election Protection Hotline (1-866-687-8683).
