Kansas City’s own The Resilient Activist has partnered with author Margo Farnsworth to create Nature Stories Around the World to inspire a lifelong passion for interest in and connection to nature for children. They highlight picture books, share nature-inspired activities and more.
Sustainability and climate change: a selected bibliography of nonfiction books
The KCKCC Library owns the majority of the titles on these extensive lists, in either print or eBook format. KCKCC students, staff, and faculty may borrow these books. Any books not owned by the KCKCC Library may be available through interlibrary loan.
The following publishers publish books about various environmental issues and/or literature. Some are small, independent publishers and others are larger. Most also take part in sustainable practices within the production/distribution of books or running of the company. The majority of major commercial and university presses also publish books on sustainable subjects.
