The mobile MakerSpace provides students, faculty, and staff with resources, guided practice, and opportunities for partnership across multiple campus locations. Using innovative tools to transform concepts into reality and serving as a hub for collaborative design and interdisciplinary skills, the MakerSpace builds confidence in making.

 

 

Stop by for our weekly open Maker Space hours on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. in the Digital Access Studio, located on the main floor of the Learning Commons. Come let your imagination out to play and create something fun or use our supplies to finish something for class!

The Learning Commons is excited to announce the first Makerspace event of the 2019-2010 academic year. Join us on the Health Professions patio on September 12 from 2:30 to 4:30 and learn from Dr. Mosier himself! That's right, Dr. Mosier will be teaching all in attendance how to create their own poured painting! Be sure to RSVP for this event!

Did you know the Digital Access Studio and the Makerspace has a Criut availble for use? Be sure to come by the Learning Commons on October 10, 2019 between 2:30 and 4:30 in the Campfire to try your hand at using the Cricut to create windo decals, design your own vinyl on canvas sign or bring in a cup of any type or size and design a decal to personalize!

On November 14th between 2:30 and 4:30 stop by the Campfire located inside the Learning Commons and use the Cricuit Design Studio to design, cut and apply your design to a tshirt or bag. Please bring your own t-shirt or bag.
